Born in Czechoslovakia in 1973, Natalia studied Art and English at the Comenius University in Bratislava. During a semester in London she fell in love with a guy from Norther Ireland and after completing her studies she moved to live with him in Paris and London and eventually in Nortern Ireland. There she developed her unique style of painting - mostly inspired by the elemental beauty of the North Atlantic Coast. She likes to swim in open water and spends most of her money on paint. When asked why she paints she says: "Because I love it.... and it's a nice way of making friends."
